A growing organization at the intersection of healthcare and technology is seeking an Associate IAM & Information Security Engineer to join their team in Irving, TX. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring three days onsite per week, designed for a junior engineer eager to build real-world experience in identity lifecycle management.
The team is actively rolling out new tools, including privileged access management, and is deeply involved in integrations with HR systems and broader security initiatives. This role offers strong mentorship, exposure to hands-on projects, and clear growth potential, including support for Okta certifications and long-term development within IAM engineering.
You will partner with a highly collaborative and experienced team to manage Identity and Access Management technologies, focusing heavily on Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, and ServiceNow. Your day-to-day will involve handling access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning while working with IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on IAM tasks, including ticket management, provisioning, and integrations. The remaining time will be split between process improvement, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, HR, and security teams. You will also contribute to automation efforts using APIs, PowerShell, and Python, while managing cloud and directory services.

Experience working with HR systems, with Workday preferred. Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, SOX, HIPAA, or GDPR. Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field. Interest in obtaining IAM or Okta certifications.
