Work Environment & Flexibility
Bound does not operate on a traditional "routine" workweek. We collaborate to get work done whenever it is needed, whether that is in the morning, afternoon, evening, or occasionally on weekends. Simultaneously, we support flexibility for personal needs, family events, appointments, and time to recharge. Employees are trusted to manage their schedules while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
This role is based in Ames, IA, with a hybrid work model. While Bound supports in-office, remote, and hybrid arrangements, some on-site presence may be required depending on team needs. The role may occasionally require lifting equipment up to 25 lbs and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while troubleshooting.

Requirements
- verified4–7 years of experience in IT support, IT security, systems administration, or related fields
- verifiedExperience managing or leading IT functions or projects
- verifiedStrong knowledge of identity and access management (Okta, JumpCloud, Azure AD, etc.)
- verifiedHands-on experience with endpoint management, patching, and device hardening
- verifiedFamiliarity with AI tools, automation platforms, or scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- verifiedExperience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration
- verifiedStrong troubleshooting skills across Mac/Windows devices
- verifiedUnderstanding of security frameworks and best practices
- verifiedSecurity+, Network+, CISSP, or equivalent experience
