Odyssey Systems is seeking a skilled and dependable Cyber Security Analyst to serve as a key IT resource for a growing organization of approximately 300 indirect and 1,800 direct employees. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, this role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data across multiple sites.
You will act as a frontline defender, monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats. Your day-to-day involves triaging security alerts, investigating incidents, and supporting proactive threat hunting to identify suspicious behavior. Beyond technical execution, you will collaborate cross-functionally to improve security policies, tooling, and architecture, while helping educate end users on best practices to foster a culture of security awareness.
This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday at our Wakefield, MA HQ, with frequent visits to our Lincoln, MA office.
This position is filled through continuous recruitment and will remain open until a sufficient pool of applications has been received. Understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and common attack vectors. Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud security controls. Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Experience with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
