The IT Support Specialist serves as the vital first line of response for the school's technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless operations for students, faculty, and staff. This position is dedicated to resolving technical issues, maintaining software and hardware, and fostering a culture of ethical and responsible technology use across the campus.
Working closely with the Technology Department, you will facilitate operational procedures by creating and supporting data-driven processes within the school's information systems. Your work ensures that every technical issue is thoroughly resolved and that all components remain fully operational, directly supporting the school's mission to provide a high-quality educational environment.
You will manage a dynamic flow of support tickets received via a ticketing system, walk-up requests, phone, and email. Your day involves troubleshooting complex technical faults, diagnosing root causes, and providing timely, accurate feedback to users. A significant portion of your time will be spent supporting the school's 1:1 laptop program, including imaging faculty and student devices, replacing parts, and delivering computers promptly.
Beyond immediate troubleshooting, you will contribute to the daily maintenance of the school's infrastructure and build a knowledge base of common resolutions to empower users. You will also conduct end-user training on IT capabilities as needed and collaborate across campuses to uphold a "one school" approach to technology integration.
