Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and implement technical solutions for computer hardware and operating systems
- check_circleTroubleshoot network engineering issues and manage data cabling
- check_circleEnsure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours
- check_circleIdentify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies
- check_circleSupport customers from multiple buildings and remote locations
- check_circleManage local technical projects and coordinate with management for continuous improvement
- check_circleMaintain or create IT policies, procedures, and processes
- check_circleTravel within local or regional areas to provide on-site technical support
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school or equivalent diploma
- verified2+ years of professional or military experience
- verified2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
- verified2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP)
- verified2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
- verified1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery
- verifiedValid driver's license and proof of insurance
- verifiedBachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent (preferred)
- verifiedCompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or other industry relevant certifications (preferred)
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications; Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance; Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences; Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience with end-to-end project management; Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 2+ years of Amazon experience; Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
