As an Information Security Analyst in our Phoenix, AZ office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization's network infrastructure. This is an on-site position where you will partner with vendors and internal teams to design and optimize network security solutions. You will be responsible for participating in advanced security policy decisions, including firewall and SASE logic reviews, to improve both user experience and our overall security posture.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Network Operations and Cloud teams to provide technical guidance and support. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring and resolving complex network performance issues, managing access control lists, and maintaining robust security measures across firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. You will also provide guidance and training to staff on network security and support after-hours maintenance for critical upgrades and outages.

Strong knowledge of Threat Protection, URL filtering, TLS decryption, and PCAPS. Familiarity with cloud network security concepts and best practices for securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of core network services (DNS, DHCP, IP Routing). Knowledge of web standards relating to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking infrastructure. Proven experience with SD-WAN platforms and technologies. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework or NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF).

Education: Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field required.
