As a key member of the Walgreens team, you will serve as the guardian of inventory integrity and a champion for the customer experience. This role is designed to ensure that our stores operate smoothly by managing the complex flow of goods from the warehouse to the shelf, with a specialized focus on both the front end and pharmacy departments. You will be the bridge between operational precision and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every product is available, priced correctly, and ready for the shopper.
In this position, you will not only execute daily inventory best practices but also train and coach team members on standard operating procedures. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of responsibilities: from receiving and counting deliveries to validating planograms and managing asset protection. You will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of on-hand balances and pricing, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, and facilitating the seamless handling of returns and vendor claims.
When serving as the Leader on Duty in designated stores, your scope expands to include opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and resolving customer issues to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience. You will model service traits such as proactive assistance and courtesy, fostering a culture where every team member is empowered to engage customers effectively.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Internal candidates must have at least six months of prior work experience with Walgreens, while external candidates should have one year of prior retail experience.
