About the Role
The Inventory Control Specialist is a pivotal member of the Murdoch's team, dedicated to ensuring the success of all store departments through rigorous inventory management. This role serves as the guardian of inventory accuracy, bridging the gap between physical stock and digital data to maintain operational integrity.
In this position, you will act as a vital back-up to the Receiving Specialist, overseeing quality checks on incoming freight and outgoing shipments. Your work requires a critical emphasis on detail, quality control, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Store Manager to develop and achieve departmental goals while fostering positive working relationships with Purchasing, Finance, vendors, and service providers.
