About the Role
As an Assistant Night Manager, you will work closely with the Assistant Club Manager of Merchandise to ensure merchandise is properly stocked, available for sale, and presented to the highest standards. This role is pivotal in delivering a positive member experience and overseeing the nightly execution of merchandise department tasks.
While you do not have direct supervisory responsibilities, you will direct the work of the overnight team, coaching, teaching, and developing them to ensure "Grand Opening Look Daily" (GOLD) standards are met. You will also serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement during your assigned shifts. A key component of this role involves maintaining a safe and compliant environment, including completing yearly certification for a forklift license, with BJ’s covering all applicable costs and training.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleSupport cross-functional collaboration to align overnight processes with daytime operations
- check_circleLead overnight merchandising execution and coordinate team tasks with the Assistant Club Manager
- check_circleOversee maintenance and safe operation of equipment including forklifts and refrigeration units
- check_circleEnforce safety and sanitation protocols and conduct steel and pallet safety checks
- check_circleCoach, teach, and develop overnight team members to drive performance and engagement

Requirements

Nice to Have
