Our highly skilled Heart Catheterization team is dedicated to performing and assisting with advanced cardiovascular procedures, handling the most unique and complex cases within the network. As an Invasive Cardiac Technologist, you will be a critical part of our high-stakes environment, utilizing strong critical thinking and technical expertise to deliver excellent patient care. You will work alongside physicians to perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, vascular interventions, pericardiocentesis, and right heart catheterizations. Your day involves ensuring proper image coding and tracking, reviewing patient history, maintaining point-of-care testing standards, and fostering an environment of aseptic technique and patient safety. You will also be responsible for communicating clearly with patients to alleviate fears and ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.
