This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Cath Lab Technologist starting as soon as possible. The role operates on a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (07:00 - 17:30). The position requires significant versatility, as clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs, potentially covering Interventional Radiology (IR), Electrophysiology (EP), and Neurointervention areas.
The unit handles a wide array of complex procedures, including Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart interventions such as TAVR and Mitral Clip. Interventional Radiology duties include lines, drains, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomy. The role also involves CRM device implants and requires experience with EP, IR, Vascular, and Neuro procedures.
The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week. Some Saturdays are included as part of the regular rotation, not as extra shifts. Additionally, the role requires on-call availability for one shift per week and every fourth weekend. Travelers must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year).
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted. A valid state license is required, though pending licenses are accepted (processing takes 10-12 weeks). Permanent staff returning as travelers must have been separated from Providence for a minimum of three months. Travelers are limited to a maximum of one calendar year per assignment and must take a six-month break before returning to the same facility.
To submit, candidates must include Tier 3 Travel Compliance details, SSN, DOB, and Return to Office (RTO) information. Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. Candidates must be willing to complete non-billable modules (average 16 hours) prior to starting and annually thereafter.
Housing options in the area may be limited, so travelers are encouraged to investigate local accommodations early. The agency will provide communication devices if required for the assignment, or reimburse up to $50/month for work-related cell phone use if the facility does not provide one.
