We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac team. This role is critical for supporting advanced procedures including STEMI interventions, structural heart repairs (TAVR, Mitral Clip), and neurointerventions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing complex cases ranging from IABP and Impella support to stroke thrombectomies and vascular interventions.
As a traveler, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, floating within your scope to support Interventional Radiology and other affiliated facilities as needed. You will utilize advanced equipment such as Philips X-Ray systems and various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, while maintaining strict sterile fields and accurate hemodynamic monitoring.
This position operates on a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (07:00 - 17:30). The schedule includes Saturdays as part of the regular rotation, with an on-call requirement of one shift per week and every fourth weekend. Candidates must be willing to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). The role involves charting in Epic and requires a high degree of adaptability to meet fluctuating facility needs.
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not accepted. Applications require a valid state license (pending licenses are accepted with a 10-12 week processing window), two professional references covering the last three years, and proof of required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ARRT R, or RCIS).

Candidates are limited to submitting to one location within the region (PAMC, Seward, Valdez, Saint Elias Specialty Hospital, or Kodiak).
