About the Role

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will join a dynamic team within the Vascular and Interventional Radiology department. Reporting directly to the RT Supervisor, you will work alongside Interventional Radiologists and RNs to perform diagnostic angiographic procedures as well as complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve obtaining necessary equipment, positioning and imaging patients, and resolving any equipment issues. You will demonstrate expertise in human anatomy, radiation safety, and the operation of fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and ancillary therapeutic devices. A key part of your role includes preparing, administering, and documenting contrast media, while corroborating patient clinical history with the procedure to ensure accurate documentation for clinicians. You will also utilize strong patient care skills to provide communication, assessment, and monitoring, followed by post-processing digital data for display or hard copy records.

Please note that periodic weekend and off-hour call will be required for this position.
