We are seeking IT interns to support our Cybersecurity team during the summer of 2026. This role is ideal for current college students, particularly juniors and seniors, who are looking to launch a career in government contracting and support a company that values initiative and innovation.
About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work hands-on with real cybersecurity tools used in production environments, moving beyond classroom simulations to day-to-day operations. You will gain exposure to widely used security and IT frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 22301, ISO 28000, and CMMC Level 2.
Your day-to-day will involve learning how endpoint protection and security monitoring tools like Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, and Microsoft Secure Score are utilized. You will assist with monthly system updates (Patch Tuesday), observe and help with incident response activities and Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, and participate in hands-on learning activities such as tabletop exercises, phishing simulations, and vulnerability reviews. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand how cybersecurity supports business requirements and compliance standards, and why security controls exist to help organizations pass audits.
