Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative plays a central role in supporting the sales process and customer experience. This position partners closely with Outside Sales, Marketing, and internal teams to move opportunities forward, keep orders on track, and ensure customers receive timely, accurate communication. This role helps turn leads into active opportunities, supports deals through completion, and keeps sales data organized so the team can operate efficiently and deliver a smooth, professional experience.

Work Location

This position can be located in Spokane, WA; Tacoma, WA; Boise, ID; or Wilsonville, OR.

Work Environment

This is primarily an office-based role. The employee regularly sits, works at a computer, and uses standard office equipment such as a phone and printer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching may be required. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 10 pounds. Close vision and the ability to focus on a computer screen for extended periods are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circlePartner with Outside Sales Representatives to prepare quotes and proposals
  • check_circleFollow up on quotes, leads, and customer inquiries to maintain momentum
  • check_circleTrack orders through post-sale milestones including delivery and shipping
  • check_circleCoordinate with service, parts, and accounting teams to resolve order issues
  • check_circleSupport marketing campaigns through customer and prospect follow-up
  • check_circleMaintain accurate customer data and segmentation in CRM systems
  • check_circleAssist with trade shows, customer events, and product launch activities
  • check_circleShare customer feedback and market insights to inform sales strategy
  • check_circleMaintain accurate quotes, orders, and contracts in CRM and ERP systems
  • check_circleSupport reporting needs such as sales activity and pipeline updates
  • check_circleServe as primary contact for customer inquiries regarding products and orders
  • check_circleManage inbound leads from phone, email, and website and ensure proper routing

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
  • verified2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer-facing administrative role
