About the Role
We are a growing specialty subcontractor dedicated to installing and servicing specialized material handling systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Gainesville, GA. This role sits at the intersection of technical precision and sales coordination, serving as the critical bridge that supports the full pre-execution process from the initial opportunity through handoff to the project manager.
If you are organized, technically curious, and energized by turning complexity into clarity, we want to talk. You will be the backbone of our sales team, ensuring that every estimate, layout, and proposal is accurate and professional before it reaches the customer.
Day in the Life
Your work will span the entire lifecycle of a sales opportunity. You will begin by analyzing plans and specifications to prepare equipment estimates and generate accurate pricing for systems, accessories, and freight. A significant portion of your day will involve drafting and refining system layouts for pneumatic tubes, trash, and linen systems, revising drawings based on feedback from architects and customers.
Once a project is awarded, you will transition into submittal management, compiling product data and compliance documentation for professional submission packages. You will also serve as a responsive point of contact for contractors, engineers, and hospital staff, coordinating between sales, engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure alignment. Your attention to detail will be vital in maintaining CRM records and tracking bid deadlines in our fast-paced environment.
