ChemTreat's Corporate Sales Opportunities are specific to water treatment, requiring an individual with experience calling on customers at a corporate level. This position is focused on maintaining existing customer accounts and generating new business to drive ChemTreat's market position within one or several of our vertical industries.
The Corporate Account Manager, Power will be responsible for retaining existing customers by fostering the ChemTreat value certification while actively pursuing leads to generate new accounts. You will work closely with Field Sales, technical staff, and management to develop retention and growth strategies for your assigned portfolio. The role is primarily focused on the profitable growth of existing customer business and the acquisition of new customers through strategic analysis and sales plan execution.
You must have a deep understanding of water treatment to effectively speak to customer needs. Your goal is to cultivate relationships with various levels of the customer, from Operators to the C-Suite, to identify needs, drive new sales, and provide ROI projects, cost savings, and value propositions.
You will be part of a collaborative environment where the position touches all levels within the customer organization. Success requires building a cohesive team between Field Operations Services (FOS), technical services, and internal operating groups to ensure customer needs are met. You will also work with the Vertical Director to support and expand ChemTreat's presence in key industry and trade organizations.
This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor sites, including boiler houses, cooling towers, water plants, wastewater plants, and process areas. You may encounter extreme heat conditions, high noise levels, and the routine use of hazardous chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as eye, hearing, and respiratory protection, steel-toe shoes, and hard hats is required for deliveries and site visits. The position requires significant travel (50-75%) and comfort with staying in hotels.
