UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system comprising five hospitals, four medical centers, nearly 200 physician practice locations, and the Frazier Rehab Institute and Brown Cancer Center. With a team of more than 12,000 highly skilled professionals, our mission is singular and unwavering: delivering patient-centered care to every patient, every day.
As a Registered Dietitian at UofL Health, you will function as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, providing safe, effective, and evidence-based nutrition therapy for both inpatients and outpatients. Your work will directly support quality clinical outcomes and the continuous growth of individual and team nutrition skills.
In this role, you will apply the nutrition care process—from screening and assessment to diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring—to deliver comprehensive nutrition therapy within your licensed area of expertise. You will serve as a key resource to other departments, collaborating with medical staff and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor nutrition students and interns, guiding them through supervised practice that reflects the rigorous standards of UofL Health.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensure by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians is also required. The interview process will focus on verifying clinical competency, experience in critical care or outpatient settings, and alignment with our patient-centered mission.
