The Division of Motorist Services, Bureau of Dealer Services, and Motor Vehicle Field Operations North in the Jacksonville Region are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We are dedicated to supporting licensed dealers, regional offices, and tax collector staff while ensuring the integrity of our motor vehicle systems.
As an Information Specialist II (Dealer Assistance Specialist), you will serve as the primary contact for dealer licensing matters related to independent, wholesale, salvage, auctions, used and new recreational vehicle dealers, and mobile home dealers. Your day will involve researching, reviewing, and analyzing applications and documentation for the issuance of dealer licenses, revocations, cancellations, titling, and registrations. You will process title application transactions based on established policies and procedures, handle records requests from dealers, law offices, courts, and the public, and review consumer complaints to compile pertinent information for jurisdiction determination.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while understanding the importance of teamwork. You will perform essential administrative tasks, such as maintaining files, composing correspondence, preparing reports, and managing office inventory. Success in this position means being well-organized and capable of navigating complex regulatory environments to provide accurate guidance to our stakeholders.
