McKinley Paper and Packaging is a growing Corrugated Container manufacturer seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Mechanic for our new, fast-paced facility in Lebanon, IN. This 3rd Shift role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and offers a great work atmosphere.
The position requires a candidate with broad knowledge of industrial electrical systems used in commercial and industrial buildings. While corrugated experience is preferred, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and mechanical systems involving electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Success in this role demands a strong understanding of PLC Logic, the ability to read schematics and blueprints, and familiarity with electrical panel and drive components, gear trains, shafts, pulleys, and bearings.
Candidates must be available to work evenings, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays for special projects. The role involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting 30 to 50 lbs. It also requires working at heights and in small or enclosed work spaces. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, particularly when working in high-voltage areas (up to 600 volts).
