About the Role
As an HVAC Technician, you will serve as a vital part of the Facilities team, performing comprehensive repairs and maintenance on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for the Casino and related facilities. Working under the direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, your role ensures the comfort and safety of our guests and staff by maintaining optimal environmental conditions.
Your day-to-day involves installing new HVAC equipment, executing routine repairs, and managing seasonal system transitions. You will troubleshoot complex electrical controls, motor panels, and programmable logic controllers while utilizing high lifts and various power tools. Beyond technical tasks, you will collaborate with a composite crew, assisting Hard Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, and Kitchen Repair technicians to accomplish shared duties. You are also expected to uphold a safe work environment, maintain inventory controls, and support emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must successfully pass a stringent background investigation and complete pre-employment and random drug screenings. A valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver's License is required prior to employment start.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleMaintain adequate inventory of HVAC small repair parts and assist with equipment inventory control
- check_circleConduct preventative maintenance, adjustments, and basic repairs on HVAC systems and air distribution machinery
- check_circleTroubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control panels, and programmable logic controls
- check_circleUtilize high lifts for maintenance tasks and ensure proper care of equipment and supplies
- check_circleCollaborate with Hard Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, and Kitchen Repair technicians to accomplish duties

- check_circleParticipate in emergency evacuation procedures and assist Security Department during building evacuations

Requirements
