Key Point Health Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support across Maryland. Our mission extends beyond clinical services to ensuring the safety and functionality of the environments where our clients live, learn, and thrive. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in this ecosystem, acting as the frontline guardian of our facilities in Aberdeen, Elkton, Dundalk, Catonsville, and Glen Burnie.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the go-to expert for general repairs and upkeep across our diverse portfolio of office settings, residential homes, and community properties. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on work, from troubleshooting electrical and plumbing systems to performing HVAC maintenance, painting, and general building repairs. You will not only fix immediate issues but also conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure our facilities remain safe and operational.
This role requires a high degree of adaptability. You will work across various environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and roofs, often traveling between sites in Cecil, Harford, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel counties. A key part of your responsibility is recognizing the limits of your expertise; when a job requires specialized skills beyond your scope, you will coordinate with external electricians, carpenters, and plumbers to ensure the highest standard of care.
You will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. However, this position includes a 2-week on-call period and a requirement to be available for 24-hour on-call coverage for residential maintenance issues. During these times, you may be called upon to respond to emergencies at any of our locations.
Interested candidates should submit their application via our website at www.keypoint.org. The selection process typically involves a review of qualifications, followed by an interview to discuss your experience with construction tools, maintenance documentation, and your ability to work independently across multiple sites.
