We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Cary, NC. This overnight shift position (6 PM–6 AM) operates on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule, with every other weekend off. You will be the spark behind our operations, tinkering with electrical and mechanical components to keep our production lines running smoothly.
In this role, you will alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), using your creativity to solve problems while maintaining clear documentation. Your day will involve analyzing production equipment failures to understand root causes, interpreting schematics and drawings, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors. You will also prioritize innovation by seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, maintaining an open dialogue with leads and supervisors regarding day-to-day activities.
