About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team in our state-of-the-art facility in Cary, NC. This overnight shift position (6 pm–6 am) operates on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule with every other weekend off.
In this role, you will be the spark behind our operations, tinkering with electrical and mechanical components to keep production running smoothly. You will alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair, requiring a firm understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Your work will involve analyzing production equipment failures to perform root cause analysis, interpreting schematics and drawings, and repairing complex systems including pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors.
Beyond technical execution, you will prioritize innovation and communication. You are expected to seek ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings while maintaining an open dialogue with leads and supervisors regarding day-to-day activities. Success in this role requires creativity in finding solutions paired with clarity in documentation.
