As a Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to OpCo leaders, collaborating closely to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of business objectives. This position oversees all aspects of human resources management, with a specific focus on navigating a unionized environment.
You will act as a vital liaison between management and union representatives, ensuring effective labor relations and the accurate administration of collective bargaining agreements. Your day-to-day involves investigating and resolving employee relations issues, managing grievances, and participating in negotiations as needed. Beyond labor relations, you will serve as an internal consultant on performance management, talent development, and conflict resolution, while driving engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
This role is based at our Plainfield, IN location (877 Perry Rd.) and requires 100% on-site presence. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, though occasional early morning or late afternoon hours may be required. The position typically averages 45-50 hours per week, subject to change based on business needs.
