A well-known restaurant chain is launching a focused audit and correction project to ensure I-9 compliance across its portfolio. We are seeking two detail-oriented specialists to join a small, easy-going team dedicated to tackling a large volume of remediation work. This role offers real autonomy with no micromanagement, allowing you to drive the project forward while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and discretion.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for I-9 remediation, reviewing forms across multiple restaurant locations to identify errors such as missing fields, incorrect issuing authorities, or incomplete sections. Your day will involve reaching out to Restaurant Managers to flag issues and coordinating corrections at the employee level, requiring persistent follow-up to keep the project on schedule. You will work directly with team members to resolve Section 1 errors and collect necessary documentation, while providing compliant guidance that never influences document selection or specifies citizenship status.
This is a fully in-office, temporary position based in Pasadena, CA, lasting up to two months. The role requires handling sensitive, confidential employee information with trustworthiness and discretion, as well as maintaining accurate audit logs and escalating high-risk issues to HR leadership.
We are looking to hire ASAP for this urgent project. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their I-9 experience and attention to detail during the screening process. Submissions to this position are subject to preliminary candidate screenings using AI to ensure minimum job requirements are met, followed by further assessment by recruiters and hiring managers.
By submitting your application, you agree to be included in our talent pool for future opportunities and grant Vaco by Highspring the exclusive right to present you as a candidate for this employment opportunity.
