This position serves as a vital support pillar for the Iowa Bankers Association (IBA) and its member banks. Working under general supervision, you will act as a primary point of contact for HR services, ensuring that member organizations receive timely, accurate, and compliant human resources support.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end payroll processing for ASO (Administrative Services Only) member banks and oversee benefit administration. Beyond transactional duties, you will serve as a trusted advisor, responding to inquiries from personnel at IBA member banks to provide guidance on a wide variety of human resources issues. You will also play a proactive role in communicating regulatory changes that impact the human resources function, helping member banks navigate complex compliance landscapes.
The position involves assisting with special HR projects and services tailored to the needs of the banking community. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and delivering excellent customer service.
