Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProcess and audit weekly or bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy of hours, deductions, and pay changes
- check_circleMaintain accurate employee data in the HRIS for new hires, terminations, leaves, and job changes
- check_circleAdminister medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits including open enrollment and qualifying events
- check_circlePartner with hiring managers to review resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
- check_circlePrepare offer letters, initiate background checks, and ensure FCRA compliance during recruitment
- check_circleCoordinate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation for new employees
- check_circleServe as first-level HR contact for employee questions regarding policies, attendance, and workplace concerns
- check_circleSupport supervisors with coaching, corrective action documentation, and policy interpretation
- check_circlePartner with HR Manager to maintain HR policies, employee handbook updates, and training materials
- check_circleSupport safety initiatives, OSHA recordkeeping, and coordinate with operations leadership
- check_circleAdminister leaves of absence including FMLA, state leaves, workers' compensation, and company medical leaves
- check_circleEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all HR functions
Requirements

- verifiedBachelor's degree in business or Human Resources
- verifiedMinimum 3 years of experience
- verifiedExperience in an HR Generalist role with 150+ employees
- verifiedSHRM-CP certification preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
