About the Role
This Human Resources Generalist role offers considerable independence within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will serve as a key administrator for the City's cloud-based NEOGOV software suite, managing the entire employee life cycle from recruiting to onboarding and performance management. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on being a proactive problem solver, and values the opportunity to shape a positive employee experience.
Your day will involve substantial interaction with employees, retirees, and the public, providing assistance and explaining complex HR programs and policies. You will partner with managers to streamline workflows, ensure accurate data management, and foster effective relationships at all levels. The role requires a genuine, approachable individual with an outstanding work ethic who can anticipate needs in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
