The Hospice RN Executive Director serves as the primary leader for an Aveanna branch, overseeing all administrative and operational functions. Appointed by the Governing Body, this role reports to the Area Vice President and/or Area Director. The Executive Director is pivotal in initiating and maintaining compliance with all Federal and State regulations governing Home Health Care Agencies, while ensuring strict adherence to Aveanna's internal policies and procedures.
This position blends clinical leadership with business acumen. The Executive Director partners with the Nursing Director and Client Relations team to manage client intake, prepare for patient admissions, and resolve incidents. Beyond operations, the role drives branch growth strategies, analyzes financial statements to optimize productivity, and oversees internal billing and collection efforts to ensure clean claims. The Executive Director also manages the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and interviewing to annual evaluations, goal setting, and ongoing staff development.

This role is salaried with a 15% bonus incentive plan.
Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), as well as a valid RN and CPR License in the state of application. Two to three years of hospice management experience is preferred.
