About the Role
The RN Clinical Manager – Hospice serves as a pivotal leader within the agency, operating under the direction of the Branch Administrator. This role is dedicated to supervising clinical staff who care for high medical acuity clients and those receiving extended non-licensed support services. As a clinical expert, you will ensure that all services are delivered in strict adherence to licensing guidelines, professional medical standards, and agency policies.
In this position, you will act as a Preceptor, responsible for staff orientation and ensuring that competent RN Case Manager and Preceptor resources are available. The role blends clinical oversight with operational and financial management, requiring you to investigate client complaints, evaluate programs for improvement opportunities, and manage caseloads to ensure comprehensive client coverage. You will also conduct regular home visits to maintain the highest quality of care and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Hiring Process
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice and possess 3+ years of RN experience specifically in a hospice setting. Experience with Medicare Skilled Nursing and a basic understanding of OASIS are required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and all employees must maintain active CPR certification per agency policy.
