The Registered Nurse Admissions position is dedicated to delivering skilled nursing care within the comfort of patients' homes in Council Bluffs, IA communities. This role is vital for ensuring that each patient receives a personalized care plan developed through collaboration with physicians, client input, and comprehensive nursing assessments. The nurse acts as a central coordinator, bridging the gap between medical interventions and daily living by educating clients and their families while training primary caregivers to maintain optimal functioning levels.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve a diverse array of clinical skills, including phone triage, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes. Success in this role requires strict adherence to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries while fostering strong, trusting relationships with patients and their support networks.

Hiring Process

Candidates must hold an active RN license in the state of application, a valid driver's license, and current CPR certification. Applicants with Medicare Skilled Nursing experience, a basic understanding of Oasis, and at least one year of RN experience in a healthcare setting are preferred. Preference is given to RNs licensed in both Iowa and Nebraska.
