As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work onsite in patients' homes to administer physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Your day-to-day involves delivering non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, and various modalities such as heat, light, cold, water, and electrical treatments. You will be responsible for documenting client records and submitting clinical documentation to the office on time each week, while attending educational meetings and coordinating department in-services. Additionally, you will apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in all patient care activities and notify the Physical Therapist or Branch Director of any equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff/client changes.

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
As this position involves driving to patient homes, it is part of Humana's driver safety program. Selected candidates must maintain a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance in accordance with their residing state's minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event/$10,000 for property damage, whichever is higher.
