About the Role

Under the supervision of a professional nurse, this position provides direct care to residents, reflecting Brookdale's philosophy and standards of home health care. You will assist residents with activities of daily living—including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring—while treating each resident with respect and dignity. The role encourages residents to do as much of their own care as possible.

Your day will involve documenting the delivery of quality care in clinical records, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment. You will respond promptly to resident requests, including emergency pull cords, and identify changes in resident status to communicate with the nursing team in a timely manner. This role requires applying common sense in emergency situations and following infection control and safety policies.
