Broad River Retail is an organization built on integrity, diversity, and culture, united by the mission to 'Furnishing Life's Best Memories.' We call all our employees 'Memory Makers' because we believe everyone has the power to create positive memories for our guests, families, co-workers, and communities. As the largest and fastest-growing Ashley licensee in the U.S., our team is the driving force behind our success, earning us a spot on the Top Places to Work list in our industry for two consecutive years.
We take immense pride in training and developing our teams to provide a premier customer experience. Our commitment to growth ensures that every Memory Maker has the tools, training, and support needed to succeed and maximize their potential.
The Home Furnishing Associate is a customer-facing retail sales professional who reports directly to the General Manager as part of the Retail Performance team. This role goes beyond simply selling furniture; you will guide customers through the journey of creating personalized living spaces and help them find the perfect sleep system to match their unique lifestyle.
We are seeking motivated, results-driven sales professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited by the opportunity for uncapped earning potential. If you enjoy building relationships, closing sales, and making a real impact on people's lives and homes, this is the role for you. Your income is directly tied to your performance, with most sales professionals earning between $70,000 and $100,000, while top performers exceed that range.
As a Memory Maker, your day begins by greeting guests upon their arrival in our retail showroom. You will learn their motivation for the visit and work to develop a lasting customer relationship. During sales consultations, you will present and discuss various home furnishing product options based on a discovery of your client's lifestyle, needs, and goals.
Your responsibilities include utilizing sales and upselling techniques, marketing new sales and special events, and assisting customers with financing, purchasing, and delivery to ensure ultimate satisfaction. You will also engage in continuous professional training and development to increase your knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions.
Broad River Retail is committed to creating a place where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to reach their full potential. Regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or family status, we firmly believe our work is at its best when everyone feels free to be their most authentic self. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), reasonable accommodations may be made to empower individuals with disabilities to undertake the essential duties of the position.
