As a Classroom Teacher, you will be a vital part of our Academics department, reporting directly to the Campus Principal. In this role, you will design and implement lesson plans that conform to our charter curriculum, ensuring they accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. You will teach instructional subjects according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, charter policies, and administrative regulations.
Your day will involve collaborating with special education teachers to ensure Individual Education Plans are met, producing and overseeing teacher aide and volunteer assignments, and employing technology to strengthen the instructional process. You will also help students assess and enhance their study methods, manage extracurricular duties, and serve as a positive example for students while supporting the charter's mission.
This position requires the ability to maintain control in stressful situations and may involve extended hours. Some lifting may be required as part of the role. You will be expected to keep up to date on and abide by state and charter regulations and policies for classroom teachers.
