About the Role

This position is designed to evolve the pharmacy experience from a purely transactional interaction to a deeply interpersonal one. As a Healthcare Services Pharmacist, you will be the face of Walgreens for patients, engaging them by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Your role involves resolving patient issues in a timely manner and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.

You will model and share patient service best practices with all team members, delivering a distinctive and joyful experience through care-oriented habits like eye contact and courtesy. By anticipating needs and proactively offering services, you will help enhance patient awareness of healthcare services such as patient consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.

In addition to patient engagement, you will provide clinical services ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures. This includes ensuring the use of all elements of the Good Faith Dispensing policy in conjunction with state and federal controlled substance laws when filling prescriptions.
