At HumanGood, we are driven by purpose—reimagining senior living and creating communities where older adults can thrive. When you join us, you become part of something bigger, making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents every day. We are committed to supporting our team members so they can build a confident, secure life for themselves and their families.
As a Server-Lead at The Terraces of Phoenix, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Center dining team. Your mission is to ensure a seamless dining experience for our residents by distributing and balancing the workload among servers, ensuring timely accomplishment of assigned tasks, and keeping the team fully engaged. You will serve as a key liaison between the front-of-house staff, the kitchen, and management, fostering a collaborative environment where both team members and residents realize their full human potential.
Your day will involve training newly hired servers and providing oversight to hosts, bussers, and food runners. You will be the go-to expert on our extensive menu, capable of describing 20+ entrees in detail, including ingredients and cooking methods. Beyond service, you will handle guest complaints with a positive and professional demeanor, referring issues to supervisors when necessary. Maintaining strict sanitation standards for both the front of house and kitchen is a core part of your responsibility. You will also ensure accurate order entry into the POS system and manage the flow of meals, from serving residents to clearing dishes as they finish.
