The Server-Lead at The Terraces of Phoenix plays a vital leadership role in our Health Center dining experience. Under general supervision, you will oversee the day-to-day work of the servers, ensuring a seamless flow of service for our residents. Your mission is to balance the workload among team members according to established workflows, ensuring timely accomplishment of assigned tasks while keeping everyone productively engaged.
In this position, you will serve as a mentor and guide. You will be responsible for training newly hired servers and providing oversight to hosts, hostesses, bussers, and food runners. As a knowledgeable leader, you will be expected to describe our extensive menu in detail, explaining ingredients and cooking methods to residents. You will handle guest complaints with a positive and professional demeanor, referring issues to supervisors as appropriate, while maintaining strict front-of-house and kitchen sanitation standards.
