As a Server-Lead at The Terraces of Phoenix, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Center dining team. Your mission is to ensure a seamless dining experience for our residents by distributing and balancing the workload among servers, assuring timely accomplishment of assigned tasks, and keeping the team engaged and productive. You will serve as a key liaison between the dining room and kitchen, ensuring that sanitation requirements are met and that every resident is treated with care and professionalism.
Your day will involve more than just managing tasks; it's about leading by example. You will train newly hired servers and provide oversight to hosts, bussers, and food runners. A significant part of your role involves interacting directly with residents: taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling any guest complaints with a positive and professional demeanor. You will also be responsible for accurately recording orders in the POS system and articulating menu details, including ingredients and cooking methods, to our residents. Maintaining a clean and welcoming front-of-house environment is central to your daily responsibilities.
