About the Role
The Server-Lead at The Terraces of Phoenix serves as a vital link between our residents and our dining experience. Under general supervision, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Center's dining service, ensuring a seamless flow of work for the entire team. Your mission is to balance workloads effectively, ensuring timely accomplishment of assigned tasks while keeping every team member engaged and productive.
In this role, you will not only manage the operational rhythm of the dining room but also foster a culture of excellence. You will be responsible for training newly hired servers and providing oversight to hosts, hostesses, bussers, and food runners. Success in this position requires a deep knowledge of our extensive menu, including the ability to describe 20 or more entrees in detail, from ingredients to cooking methods. You will be the face of our service, handling guest complaints with professionalism and ensuring that sanitation requirements are meticulously maintained in both the front of house and kitchen areas.
