The Server-Lead at The Terraces of Phoenix serves as a vital link between our residents and our dining experience. Under general supervision, you will oversee the day-to-day work of the servers in the Health Center, ensuring a seamless flow of service. Your mission is to distribute and balance the workload among team members in accordance with established workflows, assuring timely accomplishment of assigned tasks while ensuring every team member has enough work to stay engaged.
In this role, you will not only manage the dining room operations but also foster a supportive environment. You will train newly hired servers, oversee host/hostess, bussers, and food runners, and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving guest complaints in a positive and professional manner. Your day will involve deep knowledge of our extensive menu (20+ entrees), accurately communicating preparation methods and ingredients to residents, and maintaining the highest standards of front-of-house and kitchen sanitation.
