Accenture is a global professional services company with leading capabilities in digital, cloud, and security. Combining unmatched experience and specialized skills across more than 40 industries, we offer Strategy and Consulting, Interactive, Technology, and Operations services—powered by the world's largest network of Advanced Technology and Intelligent Operations centers. Our people deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity every day, serving clients in more than 120 countries.
As a Healthcare Technology Advisory Leader, you will shape and deliver interoperability, HIE modernization, EHR integration, and health data exchange programs across healthcare organizations, public sector health agencies, HIEs, payers, providers, and technology partners. Your mission is to assess current-state systems, interfaces, workflows, governance, vendor roles, and implementation barriers, then translate that analysis into practical roadmaps and delivery plans.
In this role, you will lead advisory workstreams from mobilization through delivery, facilitating client workshops and executive discussions across business, clinical, policy, operational, and technology stakeholders. You will apply commercial and business acumen to shape executive-ready solutions that connect health IT investments to measurable value, operating model impact, and financial sustainability. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in standards like FHIR, HL7, and C-CDA, and the ability to define requirements, dependencies, and sequencing for complex interoperability initiatives.
Candidates for this role should be prepared for a process that evaluates both technical depth and strategic fit. While specific steps vary, the journey typically includes an initial screening to discuss experience and career goals, followed by deeper technical and scenario-based discussions to assess problem-solving capabilities in healthcare transformation. Final stages involve meeting with hiring managers and team members to ensure alignment on culture and delivery approach. Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
