About the Opportunity

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a long-term client to lead a major $9M hospital project in Charleston, SC, commencing this September. This role is designed for a construction professional who deeply understands healthcare environments, drywall systems, and the intricate coordination required to execute complex medical projects.

The position serves as the primary on-site management presence, bridging the gap between field operations and backend project coordination. While the role involves significant project management, documentation, and stakeholder communication, it is distinct from pure tool-work. The ideal candidate will support field execution, manage subcontractor schedules, and ensure seamless communication between field teams, ownership, and external stakeholders.

This is a long-term opportunity with a clear trajectory for growth. As the company expands its healthcare construction division, this role is positioned to evolve into a broader leadership capacity, with additional hospital projects already in the pipeline.

The Day-to-Day

You will operate from the project trailer or onsite office, working alongside existing field personnel to maintain rigorous schedule and quality standards. Your focus will be on orchestrating day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare construction standards, and managing specialized build components such as MRI room assemblies and rated wall systems. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to overseeing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, while utilizing project management software to track progress.

Requirements
