About the Role

We are seeking a Health Educator to assist with a new mission in San Diego, CA. This position serves as the primary coordinator and education consultant for Mind Body Medicine (MBM) programs. Reporting to the Head of MBM, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of diverse health education initiatives for inpatient and ambulatory care areas, local military commands, and the surrounding fleet.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical needs and community resources. You will coordinate daily operations for the Directorate of Public Health, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure educational programs are valid, reliable, and directly aligned with learning objectives. Your day-to-day involves conducting curriculum planning, evaluating instructor effectiveness, and developing "Train the Trainer" programs to empower professional personnel. Additionally, you will serve as a marketing coordinator and liaison, networking with civilian hospitals, support groups, and educational institutions to enhance patient and staff education.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements
