This position serves as the head of Huntington's Corporate Accounting Policy function, acting as a central subject matter expert for complex technical accounting issues and interpretations. The role is critical for maintaining the integrity of corporate accounting policies while providing high-level support to key business areas including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), venture investments, and regulatory policy.
You will navigate highly technical subject matter, requiring deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, FASB Accounting Standards, and M&A valuation techniques. The position involves advising on complex transactions, new product implementations, and the bank's assessment of credit allowance policies. As a leader in this function, you will guide business units on technical questions, ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory guidance, and play a pivotal role in the month, quarter, and annual close processes.

This position offers a competitive compensation range of $93,000 to $189,000 annually, with actual salary determined by factors such as location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this role are also eligible for incentive compensation plans.
