Senior Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Accountant serves as a key owner of advanced accounting and financial reporting activities, with specific responsibility for complex balance sheet areas. This role is designed to ensure the integrity of financial data by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP. Beyond technical execution, the Senior Accountant acts as a mentor to staff accountants, fostering a culture of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across the function. You will serve as the primary accounting contact for both internal and external audits, interpreting financial results for operations stakeholders and driving the resolution of complex accounting issues through independent professional judgment.
