About the Role
The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the assigned facilities and grounds. This position is essential for ensuring that outdoor environments remain operational and secure in support of critical national security missions. The role involves a hands-on approach to landscape care, requiring the management of shrubs, trees, lawns, and irrigation systems. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the property, including snow and ice removal from roofs, sidewalks, and entryways to ensure safe access for personnel.
Work Environment
This position operates in a dynamic outdoor environment that may include dirty conditions and extreme temperatures. The role requires the physical ability to lift or carry heavy objects and operate large power equipment, field mowers, and grounds maintenance vehicles. A valid security clearance is required for this position.
