As the Grocery/Refrigeration Manager, you will lead the day-to-day performance of these departments, driving sales and maintaining margins while ensuring a safe and inviting environment. Reporting to the Store Manager and Buying Department, you will oversee scheduling, team management, merchandising, and vendor relations to help our store thrive.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleMonitor store appearance, safety, and adherence to all operational procedures
- check_circleCollaborate on weekly ad planning and promotional strategies to drive sales
- check_circleDevelop and implement marketing tactics to educate customers on products
- check_circleSource products directly and via distributors to enhance variety
- check_circleTrack and grow customer purchase rates through product knowledge and outreach
- check_circleMaintain accurate product handling including invoices, deliveries, and shrink management
- check_circleDeliver exceptional customer service and proactively address feedback
- check_circleBuild strong working relationships with wholesalers, vendors, and internal teams
- check_circleSupport inventory for refrigeration and grocery while ensuring food safety compliance
- check_circleManage staffing by recruiting, training, evaluating, and promoting team members
