About the Role
As a Greeter at Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's, you are the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an "over the top" customer service experience. Your mission is to ensure every visitor feels welcomed, appreciated, and excited to explore our world-class outdoor destinations. You will act as a friendly ambassador, guiding guests with a smile and professional demeanor while supporting the store's operational needs.
In this role, you will actively promote key programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup. You will also manage the flow of the entryway, ensuring the area remains clean, tidy, and safe. A unique aspect of this position involves facilitating the check-in process for firearms and weapons by coordinating with trained Outfitters, strictly adhering to safety protocols where you never handle the weapons yourself. Additionally, you will serve as an information hub, keeping guests informed about special events, sales, and promotions while managing vendor check-ins.
